On Friday, January 3rd, the Georgetown Prep hockey team had the honor of welcoming a very special guest to their matchup against St. John’s—Bob McDonald, the renowned anthem singer for the Washington Capitals.

Bob McDonald, known for his powerful and stirring renditions of the National Anthem at Capital One Arena, brought his talent and energy to our home rink. His presence added an extra layer of excitement and pride to our game that ended in a tie.

We are incredibly grateful to Bob McDonald for taking the time to join us and for sharing his gift with the Georgetown Prep community. It was a night to remember, both on and off the ice!
